Denise was a life saver. She helped me out to put together a scavenger hunt + food tour in record time. She was available at 8:30s on Sunday to help me save the day for our team building activity after weeks of disappointments and poor customer services from Sur la Table. Her team jumped in to do what they know better excellent customer service with ton of fun. - 12/13/2022

Just want to thank Denise and team for a great afternoon entertaining clients this past Saturday. Our terrific food tour sampled some of the great eateries in the Palm Beach Gardens area (the mac and cheese at The Cooper was outstanding!), and to a person, everyone joining us mentioned how pleasant an afternoon it was. If you happen to be in the Palm Beach area, I highly recommend making an afternoon outing with the Savor Our City group. - 1/30/2020
Our Team had a GREAT time on Los Olas Boulevard with Denise and Milton. We spent several hours with them, starting with a fun scavenger hunt, followed by a delicious Culinary Tour. I recommend this event to any group looking to have fun together. I am relatively new as a manager of this Team, so it was very important to me that I find an event which was fun for the whole group. Each Team member personally thanked me during and after the event. Well done Savor Our City!! - 12/19/2019

We booked the Winter Park restaurant tasting tour for an afternoon company outing and loved it! It was a unique experience and the food was tasty (received more than expected). We had 18 people in our group, but this type of tour would also be conducive to smaller groups as well.

Savor our City was awesome this week in setting up a client event for me in Orlando. The service was responsive. Very easy to work with Denise. She will take the time to understand your needs and tailor a plan that meets your needs depending on the headcount, location constraints and make it real fun.
Excellent Experience! I’ve been a part of two food tours with Denise and Savor our City. The first was an excursion in the Little Havana and Wynwood neighborhoods in Miami. I was so impressed with the experience and level of service provided by Denise that I asked for her help in designing a celebration for a milestone work anniversary with someone on my team. The evening was a home run! All of the team had a great time trying new food and celebrating a co worker. It was a unique experience; the honoree was the center of attention and celebrated at each venue in a special way and the group (~20 people) had an opportunity to spend time with everyone! Savor our City made it so easy! Once I told Denise the occasion, she took care of planning the rest. I highly recommend this experience for team building or even a night out with friends! - 8/22/2018

Mizner Park Tour in Boca Raton was very fun For our tour today we stopped at Yard House, Ouzo Bay, Kapow! Noodles and Cocktails and Racks. At each stop we got to hear from a spokesperson from the restaurant, either a manager or Executive Chef. We tried a good variety of drinks, entrees, appetizers and desserts.

A Delray Culinary Must Do! Thanks Denise for a fabulous restaurant tour on the Avenue today. We savored every minute and bite! Your knowledge of local history and lore was value added. We’’ll be back for your Boca tour next year. - 3/19/2017
Delray on Saturday AM Savor the City's food tours are a fantastic way to get a "taste of the city (in this case Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach) and learn about the history of the region. This was my fifth tour with Denise and not my last I'm sure!! I love them! The food is fabulous. At each stop you get to meet the owner or the manager and hear about the restaurant's start or specialties. It is a fun way to try new things, try to restaurants, meet new people, be adventurous .and have fun!! - 2/13/2017
Great Tour! Great Food! I would definitely recommend taking this tour! Denise was super nice. The tour was well run, the spots were great, the food was fantastic and by the end of the night, I felt like I was having a nosh with new friends! Very well organized and I appreciated the "goodie bag" at the end. - 2/08/2017

Excellent evening out We joined Denise and Savor our city at the Ft. Lauderdale Schakolad Chocolate Factory. This was a wonderful date night with my husband. We learned quite a bit about chocolate and the process in which it is made. We had the opportunity to dip a pretzel, strawberry and an Oreo. Afterwards we wrote our name on a piece of chocolate, made chocolate molds and even split into two groups and built a chocolate house. - 11/02/2016

Savor our city, Delray Beach, a day you're not likely to forget, nor leave hungry! If you are a foodie, or want to know something interesting about Delray Beach, or perhaps make some new friends with similar interests, Denise who runs "Savor our city" is the person to make it all happen. It starts out as a day of anticipation, and within about 3 hours turns into the realization, that Delray Beach is a Culinary lovers delight. Denise knows the city, and its restaurants, and its hidden secrets. She has researched the history, and tasted her way from one end to the other, and every one of her choices was different so that the tour became comprehensive and cohesive. A great time was had by all, I would recommend this tour without reserve. Want to know more about the restaurants I was introduced to? Follow my reviews on Trip advisor with "Delray Beach" in the search engine. - 7/24/2016

Interesting and very tasty This tour was an activity option during a recent company event (in Delray Beach). A bit of history and a very good cross section of restaurants and a bonus of a peek into an old speakers.. Wish I was still there to go back for dinner. - 5/02/2016
Savor Our City, Delray Beach Tour The tour was great, both delicious and historically informative. We had a private tour of 9 and everyone had a great afternoon! Denise was energetic and kept the tour fun with all of her knowledge of the establishments we toured as well as the town itself. The tour is worth every penny as you leave with a belly full of great food and a head full of interesting new tidbits of information! - 2/29/2016
Excellent tour, will definitely go again This was the fourth private tour that our company has taken with Denise this year. This time the group was an international crowd and really enjoyed it. Denise is very knowledgeable of the area and took us to some great places, some, that although I personally have lived in the area for a number of years have never tried before. The restaurant representatives were all very friendly and welcoming and Denise obviously has a wonderful rapport with them. I will definitely be booking more tours, it makes a great teambuilding event and you get to eat wonderful food along the way! - 12/10/2015
Savor Our City Delray Beach Fl Attended the Savor Our City in Delray Beach. It was an excellent tour provided by Denise our tour guide. We enjoyed learning a little about the history of Delray and then the different restaurants we visited for tastes of thier cuisine. We were lucky that the restaurants we visited on the tour were not restaurants we had eaten in already. I recommend if you are visiting Delray, that you try and do this tour early when you arrive so you can go back to your favorite restaurants while in town. Denise did a great job and it was fun meeting others in the group. - 6/09/2015
On Monday June 1 2015, was my first tour with Denise on her private tour for CSL Plasma. She had great "ice breaker" conversation starters with having us write our name and favorite type of food and drink on a sticker. THIS was a GENIUS idea it was great to see who had what and it made talking to others so EASY!. We first visited City Oyster, they were all so friendly but not only that you get to a plate of kale salad, coconut shrimp and clam linguine. Next stop only was right next door to the Buddha Sky Bar. I have always walked past this restaurant just never walked in.. And it was BEAUTIFUL it was a place that I would go to on a "first date" type of night. The hospitality here was INCREDIBLE so sweet, fun, and always smiling. The server we had was Pat she was so nice. They already had their edamame with truffle oil and sea salt on the table, then came out with sake for us to try. This was my first time trying sake (I don't think ill be having it again) haha. But next was their Pineapple Fried Rice I RECOMMEND IT, so amazing,. Finally the Fire Roll, it looked so fishy I don't normally try sushi with raw fish on the top, however this time I did, and I didn't taste the fishy taste at all. it was PERFECT. After that there was Janet she is the Maitre D she gave us a tour of Buddha Sky Bar I NEVER KNEW how much more was at the restaurant.

Now we were off to The Original Popcorn House this is the cutest little red house. We were all so lucky because normally they are closed on Monday but opened just for our tour. Denise made this stop to show us the "behind the scene" of how the popcorn was being made, and to do a popcorn and wine pairing. I know popcorn and wine?!?! BUT it worked we tried white, red, and sparkling wine with a specific type of popcorn flavor that paired well with the wine. Denise knew exactly what she was talking about on each specific wine. HONESTLY AN AMAZING EXPEREINCE!! We then had a quick stop at The Colony Hotel and Denise told us about the history of Delray Beach, and how this is the only hotel that still has a man working the elevators. Continuing on we ended up at 50 Ocean they served us the Sea Devils & Prosecco. We left and walked to Pizza Rustica, trying their S'Mores Pizza was to die for!!! It was a Perfect Dessert for the end of this tour. This was my first tour and definitely WON'T be my last. Denise through out the whole tour connected with every one, and always had fun and interesting facts! I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun time, loves food, and wants to learn about the town. 🙂 - 6/03/2015

Great Private Group Tour! Booked this private culinary tour in Delray Beach for an International group in town for business. It was a lot of fun and the food was wonderful. Denise was great and very knowledgeable about the city and all of the stops on the tour. Will definitely recommend Denise and her tours to other colleagues in Boca. - 4/22/2015

What a fun experience! I've lived in Delray for many years, but this was my first walking culinary tour. I really appreciated getting the chance to have small bites at several different restaurants in the same day. Denise was very knowledgeable about the area and told a lot of interesting stories about the history of Delray Beach. We got to try a variety of foods: empanadas, seafood, bbq, and even gourmet popcorn. I will recommend this tour to friends and family. - 4/06/2015

Savor Our City Culinary Tours - "A Must Do!" Wow.....what a wonderful time learning, eating, drinking and socializing with interesting like minded individuals! Our tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly and offered a well-rounded, well-organized event from start to finish. All tour locations were welcoming and ready for our arrival. There was plenty of excellent food and drink to sample along the way as well as lots of fun and laughs from those who joined our group. I learned so much about the area and local restaurants that I wasn't aware of after living here for 20 years. I highly recommend Savor Our City Culinary Tours and look forward to attending another one in the near future. In the meantime, my new friends and I have made plans to meet again for dinner at the restaurants on our tour to continue the great time we started together through Savor Our City Culinary Tours. Many thanks to our fabulous hostess, Denise Righetti....we will see you again real soon! - 2/03/2015

Denise's tour maintains the reputation of her Foodie Events gatherings by offering appealing food and the opportunity to learn about specific areas of Boca Raton and Delray Beach. Our Pineapple Grove , Delray Beach tour exceeded expectations with the choice of venues , especially the tour of art galleries. I expect that Savor will expand its locations and improve a process that already works well. - 1/21/2015

Atlantic Ave. Food Tour - YUM! This was our first culinary walking tour with Savor Our City Culinary Tours, and it won't be our last! We went on the Atlantic Ave. food tour in Delray Beach and we are looking forward to taking the Pineapple Grove tour when we return to Florida in February. We went to The Office, Mussels Beach and Smoke. All three places were ready for us when we arrived. The tastings were amazing and left us full! We particularly liked that the chef or manager in each restaurant discussed what we were eating. She took us to the Green Market where we had a tasting made for us. The penne pasta tossed in a parmesean whee was delicious! We also went to the Tearoom for iced tea and cookies. A jewel right off of Atlantic Ave. Delray Beach has so many restaurants that it is difficult to know which ones to go to. Denise took us to 3 awesome restaurants that we are looking forward to returning to for a full meal. - 12/27/2014
New Places and New Friends We are new residents in Boca Raton so these tours are a really fun way to see what the town has to offer. Each tour provides an entertaining and delicious way to spend the evening with new people finding new places. My wife and I have enjoyed 4 tours and will certainly be back for more. We're finding the best places to eat! - 12/21/2014
So much fun!!! We've done 4 different Savor our City Tours with Denise and have really enjoyed every one. Lots of different restaurants with generous food samples and some times a glass of wine. Denise is very attentive and It's fun meeting other people too. Highly recommend! - 12/20/2014
Taste of Atlantic Tour - Awesome!! What a great way to see a city! A Taste of Atlantic tour was well organized, delicious and interesting! The tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. It was a fun way to spend a few hours and learn about the city. We are South Floridians and always looking for something different to do. This was it. Looking forward to experiencing Savor Downtown Boca! - 11/10/2014

Took the PGA Commons tour last night and had a great time. The food was delicious and the wine was great. It was a very enjoyable way to learn a little bit about the area and meet some nice people. I am looking forward to taking the Pineapple Grove tour. The tours are a little bit expensive but if you consider the fact that you get a glass of wine (and some give refills) at each restaurant then the cost is reasonable. I would definitely recommend these tours. - 8/28/2014

Best Walking and Eating Tours in the World My wife and I have traveled the world, taking eating and walking tours as many places as possible. Denise's Delray Beach tour we took was the best any place in the world. She does just enough local history, goes to interesting places, with plenty of good food and drink, and gets the owner or manager to come out and talk each place about the focus of the individual restaurant or shop. The cost per person was $65 per person plus tip, so $75 each for us, for a three hour eating and drinking and walking tour. It might seem like a lot of money to many, but we thought it was well worthwhile. We ate in four restaurants - two with a complimentary drink as well, ate in two shops, walked around Atlantic Ave with Denise, grazing our way through just over three hours. The tour attracted a nice mix of people. And we all had a really good time together, for what my wife and I felt was a reasonable price for what we got. We look forward to taking all of Denise's tours wherever else she runs them. - 6/15/2014

Tour of Delray My wife Janete and I just went on a tour with Denise experiencing several different restaurants and sites in Downtown Delray Beach. It was a fun and educational day with some great food. My wife and I are locals, but there were many things we learned on our walking tour. It was a great way to spend the day as well as making some new friends. Thank you! Curtis and Janete - 6/08/2014
A great Way to Spend an Afternoon Gotta love the city by the sea..........DELRAY BEACH! We had such a nice time on Savor the City Culinary Tours! How fun is it to get to try all new places ,restaurants and specialty shop and learn the history of such a great city at the same time! Definitely will go bck and recommend to friends and guests from out of town! - 5/12/2014
Taste Atlantic Ave...YUM! I had an amazing Saturday afternoon with Denise on her Taste Atlantic Ave tour. Each restaurant we visited was well prepared, ready and waiting for us to arrive...and even better, they were able to accommodate myself and the other vegetarian in our group! The Office brought us their DELICIOUS veggie burger made with quinoa and lentils, along with the most amazing truffle fries and paired it with a light, refreshing white ale. Even Big Al's had a vegetarian option for us with mushrooms, peppers, onions and cheese (not to mention the CHERRY SODA was so yummy!) Taverna Opa was a favorite - you get to mash up your own hummus in a pestle and mortar. Tryst served a beautiful salad of arugula, watermelon, marcona almonds and grilled ricotta salata. You also get to taste balsamic vinegars and olive oils at The Ancient Olive, sample two scoops of ice cream at Sloan's, and peruse through The Colony Hotel for a pit stop. Denise had great stories to tell about the history of Delray Beach and really connected to each and every one of us through out the afternoon. It was a lot of fun, and I would recommend it to locals and tourists alike — anyone who enjoys good food with good company! - 5/10/2014
Really great way to sample dishes from multiple restaurants in one afternoon! I hadn't eaten in any of the restaurants on the tour, and since we love the area, now we'll know which to return to! Loved the historical information that was dispersed throughout the tour. A great way to spend a few hours. I'm looking forward to other locations! - 1/01/1970
